Alicia Jenner, M.Ed.

Senior Learning Experience Designer

Alicia Jenner (she/her) is a Senior Learning Experience Designer on the Online Program Management team at MSU’s Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation. Her work is focused on areas of improving the student experience in online programs and working collaboratively across the university with academic units and administrative units that support online students. She uses approaches from customer experience management, user experience design, and instructional design to monitor and improve MSU’s processes for supporting online students, faculty, and staff.

She is the project lead for online.msu.edu and supports new and existing online programs by facilitating and managing relationships with Online Program Experience/Management (OPX/OPM) external partners who provide recruitment services for academic units. In this capacity, she consults with program directors and staff by leading and assisting with project and change management, communications, and risk management.

Alicia earned her bachelor’s degree from Northern Michigan University and her master’s degree in Curriculum and Instructional Technology with a certificate in Instructional Design from Iowa State University and is earning her Ed.D. in Leadership for Educational Equity in Higher Education from the University of Colorado-Denver. She is also the recipient of the University Professional and Continuing Education Association (UPCEA) Adelle F. Robertson Emerging Professional Continuing Educator Award in 2022.
