Rashad Muhammad, M.A.

Learning Experience Designer

Rashad Muhammad (he/him) is a Learning Experience Designer for MSU’s Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation (CTLI). He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunication focusing on Information Technology Systems and a Master of Arts degree in Educational Technology.

Rashad has a talent for developing technology-enhanced learning solutions. In CTLI, he is responsible for coordinating training and workshop offerings, leading the technical development of the #iteachmsu Commons website, coordinating the Catalyst Innovation Program, and leading Coursera development for the Online Program Management team.

Historically, he has played a key role in developing the training strategy for MSU’s HR and Financial systems, the campus-wide adoption of Zoom Webinar, and has worked in conjunction with MSU IT to promote instructional uses of technology. Outside of work, he teaches a social dance called Chicago Steppin, youth mentorship through his affiliation with All of the Above Hip Hop Academy.
